Josh has done it all, starting as a labor hand in the field to managing large crews and now leading Preferred Contractors. Stoney joined the team in 2019 with an extensive background in different segments in the oil and gas industry.
After attending Sam Houston State University he began his career in 2011 as a project manager in the pipeline integrity sector managing large projects from hydrostatic testing, mechanical pigging to ILI tool inspections and an array of pipeline integrity services. He is well rounded as he has managed multiple pipeline construction & facility construction projects as well. He has been involved in the success of the growth in multiple companies in his career with his knowledge and strong client base.
We are excited to have Stoney lead our team to the next level as we believe he is a key player in our future success here at Preferred Contractors.
Cody Brist, Senior Project Manager: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cody is a Southeast Texas native and graduate from Lamar University with a B.S. in Construction Management. He has a range of experience from working as a laborer in the field to managing large EPC projects. With over 8 years of experience, Cody has managed many projects as both a contractor and owner.
Upon graduation he went out in the field and worked as a construction engineer assisting with all aspects of project execution. He worked his way up to Subcontract Manager for a $250 MM biodiesel expansion project and Site Manager on a $200 MM Cavern Storage Facility project. Cody went to work as an Operations Specialist for the pipeline division of a large gas company where he managed the national One Call program and maintenance projects for the Gulf Coast Region.
Cody is a great addition to the team as he continues manage all aspects of our projects.
Cheyenne Simino, HR & Safety Manager: email@example.com
Cheyenne began her career in Safety after graduating from Temple Junior College where she was also a collegiate athlete.
Cheyenne has over 10 years of experience with a considerable background in managing all aspects of safety. She comes to us with several years of training in managing complete safety programs for both large and small companies. From oversight and managing OQ Training, QA/QC Audits, Database Management, and DOT/ Non DOT Audits, Cheyenne has the successful background needed to ensure Preferred's safety structure is par-none.
Cheyenne has been with Preferred since establishment in 2016. She manages all operations in the office from Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. Cheyenne is an invaluable member of the Preferred Contractors team.
Ryan Kelly, Estimator / Project Manager: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ryan began his construction career in 2015 after an 8 year active duty in the United States Army. With experience in estimating for a general contractor, Ryan is familiar with all disciplines of industrial construction and understands the value of separate trades working together to complete projects seamlessly and efficiently. Having served a combat tour in Iraq, Ryan has real word leadership experience and knows how to develop solutions through even the most difficult situations.
Ryan joins Preferred Contractor with a strong work ethic and drive to learn and grow. With his knowledge, skills and broad set of life experiences we believe Ryan is a valuable member of the Preferred Contractors team that will be a big part of our future growth.

Michael began his career in the pipeline integrity sector in 2012 as an Operator in the field. From there he worked his way up to a Foreman, running large projects. With his aspirations in moving up the ladder he became an Estimator/ Project Manager in 2016 and has been involved in some very extensive projects throughout his career.
With his extensive background and knowledge Michael is a great asset to our team that will handle our Integrity Services division projects from a "cradle to grave" approach
